Cromex Trading, connecting Canada and Mexico across global trade lanes Canada × Mexico Commodity Bridge
Independent · Corridor-focused

A Canadian sourcing house for the Canada–Mexico corridor, working across food, agricultural and consumer-goods categories.

§ 01 Approach
A different kind of trading partner

We don't take title. We don't move freight.
We connect the right buyer to the right Canadian supplier, and stay close while the relationship grows.

§ 02 What we do

Three things, done well.

Cromex is built around a simple value chain, the same one our wordmark carries: Source. Connect. Grow. We focus on the relationship work that turns a one-off purchase order into a long-running corridor lane.

01 / SOURCE

Sourcing & Procurement

We identify Canadian producers and exporters who can actually deliver against a Mexican (or wider Latin American / North American) buyer's specification, quality, volume, lead time, terms. We do the supplier vetting, the spec match, and the price discovery so a buyer doesn't burn a quarter chasing the wrong leads.

Building direct producer and exporter relationships
02 / CONNECT

Buyer–Supplier Bridge

We make the introduction, sit on both sides of the table during early discussions, and translate where needed, culturally and linguistically. Commercial terms are negotiated directly between buyer and supplier; we keep the conversation moving and protect the relationship when something gets hard.

Direct corridor relationships
03 / GROW

Corridor Relationships

The first deal is the easy part. We stay engaged after the first shipment lands, checking that the spec held up, that the second order goes smoother than the first, and that both sides see the lane as worth investing in. That's where corridor business is actually built.

Long-term lane development
§ 03 Why Cromex

Built for the corridor, not the catalogue.

Most sourcing intermediaries are generalists running a hundred lanes badly. We picked one, Canada to Mexico, and built around it. Heritage on both sides of the border, direct producer and buyer relationships in the categories we work, and a brokerage model that keeps our incentives aligned with the buyer.

  • 01

    Independent

We don't take title to product and we're not anyone's exclusive agent. The recommendation you get is the supplier we'd actually pick, not the one paying the highest commission.

  • 02

    Supplier-paid

Buyers don't pay Cromex. Our commission is paid by the supplier on shipped volume, so getting introduced costs you nothing, and we only earn when the lane works.

  • 03

    Bicultural by design

The Cromex name is Croatian × Mexican. The bridge is the literal product, and the relationships on both sides of the corridor reflect that.

  • 04

    Producer-side focused

We work upstream of the broker layer, building direct relationships with Canadian producers and exporters in the categories we serve. Less telephone game, faster answers on spec, volume, and lead time.

§ 04 Sectors

A broad mandate, worked one category at a time.

Cromex is positioned across food, agricultural and consumer-goods categories on the Canada–Mexico corridor. We take on a category when we can do the producer-side work properly, then build depth in it before adding the next.

Where we work

Active capability across Canadian export categories headed for Mexican and wider Latin American markets.

  • Dairy ingredients (active)
  • Specialty & functional food ingredients

If you're sourcing a Canadian commodity or product line and the volume justifies the work, ask. We'll be straight about whether we can help.

§ 05 Process

How a Cromex deal actually moves.

Four steps, in plain language. Commercial logistics (freight booking, customs documentation, cross-border paperwork) is handled directly between the buyer and the supplier, on terms they agree to.

  1. 01

    Brief

You tell us what you need to buy or sell, spec, volume, target landed market, timing. We confirm whether it fits our corridor and category focus.

  2. 02

    Match

We work our supplier or buyer network and come back with one or two real options, not a list of fifty. Pricing is indicative; quality and reliability are vetted.

  3. 03

    Introduce

We make the introduction, sit through the first commercial conversations, and translate where needed. Terms, INCO, payment, and shipping are negotiated directly between the parties.

  4. 04

    Stay close

After the first shipment, we stay engaged on quality, timing, and the second-order conversation, that's where the lane gets built.

§ 06 Contact

Tell us what you're trying to buy or sell.

A short email is enough to start. We'll come back with a candid read on whether we can help, and if we can't, we'll often know who can.
